Finland summer

Wild days. Northern light.

Slow down. Go further.

Finland’s summer wilderness has a different rhythm. Long days, clear lakes, endless forest and trails where the further you travel, the quieter it gets.

Students explore Syöte National Park on foot, by canoe and by fat bike, learning practical outdoor and bushcraft skills as they go. They’ll navigate, cook together, discover the wildlife and ecology of the boreal forest and take their adventure beyond the cabin for a night camping in the wild.

There’s challenge here, but also space — to notice more, work together and become increasingly comfortable in the outdoors.

Forest. Water. Campfire. Adventure stripped back to what matters.

FINLAND: SUMMER WILDERNESS

Explore the forests and lakes of Syöte National Park on an adventure by foot, paddle and bike.

Trek through boreal forest, canoe clear northern waters, tackle the trails by fat bike and develop practical navigation and bushcraft skills along the way. Then carry your kit into the national park, make camp and spend a night under canvas before returning to the warmth of cabin, campfire and Finnish sauna.

A fire burning in a campfire with rocks around it, set outdoors in a grassy area. There is a metal kettle on the left side of the fire, and a person with a mug sitting nearby. A fallen log and an apple are visible in the background.
